Soldier Medic! Warrior Spirit! Hooah!
If you think I need to change something on my profile, tell me so. Otherwise, you can't complain and you can't say I didn't ask for your help. Giving me anything less than a 10 without a reason why would be an insult meaning that you never read my page to begin with. I'm always changing this thing, lol, and I would love some help. I'm not online a lot what with my training and all so any and all help is greatly appreciated. Also, visit my civilian profile, MyWorldYourDream. =^_^=
I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team.
I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my Warrior tasks and drills.
I always maintain my arms, my equipment, and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.
Rules
Sorry folks. There are a few rules I would like for you to follow. I do realize that this may offend some of you and that most of you won't listen but *shrugs* whatever. They're here anyway.
1. If you're going to be rude, don't bother speaking to me. I have no time to deal with children.
2. Please use proper grammar and punctuation. It's what you go to school for. Our tax dollars go toward your education, you know... Stop wasting our money!
3. Please do not use over sized stamps that mess up the layout of my page.
4. If you have suggestions about my profile, by all means, share it with me. But don typ lyk dis. It's annoying as hell. Speak to me properly or don't bother speaking at all.
Thank you. ^_^
PV2 Cox
"Older picture but I like it. ^_^"
My name is PV2 Cox, Racheal. I am a 68W (Combat Medic) in the United States Army. I am the only Active Duty personnel in my family and I’m very proud of that fact. I’m 20 years old, about 5’7” short, and weigh 144 lbs according to our last weigh-in. I’m a neat freak. I’m OCD as all hell (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder…. Like Mr. Monk but on a bit of a smaller scale. Lol) I love my job and almost everything affiliated with the Army, just not the people that are in it. We’re supposed to hold ourselves to a higher standard but most act as if they’ve just gotten out of pre-school.
Right now, I’m not supposed to be doing much of anything. I’ve acquired quite a few injuries that seem to worry a lot of the doctors here. *laughs* I have multiple stress fractures in my feet. My left fibula is completely fractured, both tibias have grade two stress fractures as well as shin splints. My left femur houses a grade two stress fracture that runs into my pelvis and my right femur houses a grade three stress fracture that runs from my knee into my pelvis. So I’m all ten kinds of messed up. *laughs again* But despite all of this, I refused the wheelchair and settled for a deadman’s profile instead. If you don’t know what any of this is, I’ll post an Army dictionary for you in my journal. ^_^
When I’m not broken, I like to go horseback riding and hiking in the mountains just off post. I also like to go camping, reading, writing, and debating. I’m actually pretty good at that last one. =D
My Family
“My buddy Damron”
My military family is the one I can really count on. No matter what, I know they are there for me no matter how much they may hate me at that moment in time. *laughs* I’ve got loads of pictures in my portfolio showing off my battle buddies and there are loads more to come. A few of my battle buddies that are here now, went through basic training and AIT with me so we’ve been together for a while. See, thing is, with the military, there is no ‘me’ or ‘I’. It’s One Team, One Fight. You live with these people day in and day out. You’re forced to be right in each others asses every second of the day. They teach you to act and think as one, like a team. Some of these people I’ve only known for six months or less but I know them better than I could ever hope to know my civilian family. And likewise, they know me. ^_^
My "Home"
"El Paso skyline"
Home is where the Army sends me, obviously. *laughs* Right now and for the next three years, it’s in El Paso, Texas. I don’t have a car yet so I haven’t gotten to see much of it but from what I’ve seen, it’s okay. We’re not allowed to go into Jaurez though. Apparently, they’re killing people at a rate of 100 per month. Yea…. Don’t want to go there. *giggles* There are plenty of other things here to keep me occupied though. A lot of my battles just got new gaming systems and all that. We like to play RockBand a lot. I’m real good on the mic and on guitar. *laughs* I couldn’t play a real one if my life depended on it but I sure do rock out on this game. ^_^
Friendship
I have no problems with biting, stalking, or you adding me to your friends list. ^_^ The option is there, you might as well use it! lol.
It is your right as VampireRave Member to do whatever you wish here. I'm not going to turn my biting or stalking off. It's not fair to you really. Plus, I take it as a compliment. I'm not going to use the Lurk option either.... I like when people talk to me so why would I hide? If I don't want to talk to you I'll just block you. lol
So do what you want. You don't have to ask, but you can if you want to. :P
Journals/Portfolio
Occasionally, I'll post something in my journal... Basically all Army stuff. lol.. Go figure, huh?
As for my pictures, they're still under construction. There were some pictures that I had to get rid of and I'm in the process of taking more. A lot of my pictures are done with a camera phone.. It's all I have.. the Army doesn't pay me enough to buy anything else...lol...
I'll also be putting in pictures of me while I'm in uniform... You know I'd look dead sexy in camo.. lol.. Just kidding.
Updates
Any updates I have will be posted in here.

This is my protection stamp. It's not meant for any one person because I'm not meant to protect only one person. So, if you'd like to, take it. Also, there's something that was started that not many people know about. If you support our troops, wear something red on Fridays. It may not seem like much but it means a lot to us.
28DEC08
Well, I'm heading straight to Iraq for my deployment. We have to do some extra training thing in Ft. Sam Houston from August to September and then we're being shipped out before that Christmas... This should be fun.... Wish us luck! ^_^
The CW is sponsoring Vampire Rave this week. They have a new show coming out called, "13: Fear is Real". Parts of Vampire Rave will have a different look and feel this week. Please take a few moments to review the show details. I think they've got something here. Here's a brief show synopsis:
Combining reality and scripted horror, this series features 13 contestants staying in a spooky house and forced to confront their deepest fears. Each week, a different competitor departs by appearing to die in an elaborately staged scenario. The last one standing wins $66,666.
